The Galia is a hybrid melon originating from a cantaloupe and honeydew cross. Resembling a cantaloupe on the outside but with deep green flesh. The Galia is an extremely sweet, aromatic and flavorful melon. It's the melon of preference in Europe.

Exceptionally juicy, the Galia melon offers a delicious and ultra-sweet flavor with just a hint of spice. This aromatic specialty melon can be marketed as a premium product.

Our Galia melons are grown in the fertile lands of the Choluteca region of Honduras and are avalable from late December to early May.
